This August 2009 set of photographs were taken on a visit to Linidfarne. Lindisfarne, which is also known as Holy Isle, is located off the Northumberland coast and is only accessible via a causeway at low tide. The photos show the main features of the island - its causeway, the abbey ruins and its castle.
