This February 2009 set of photographs were taken in Canberra on Australia Day, the 26th January 2009. The Ceremony was attended by the Governor General, the Prime Minister Kevin Rudd and the Chief of the Defence Staff. The event consisted of the flag raising and the gifting of citizenship to sixty new Australians, which included no less than the singer Leo Sayer.
